Welcome graphic

Hello and thank you for visiting my site! My name is Rachel Meyer and I am a competitive gymnast. I am a level 9 soon to be 10. I am a huge Tasha fan as you tell by my picture! I enjoy gymnastics so much. Gymnastics is my life and I like the way it is! If you are intrigued maybe you could check out my gym's website. www.intrigueathletics.com. I will start my next competitive season in January. If you are looking for a good gymnastics camp or gymnastics meet maybe you should check out John Mcready's Flip Fest Invitational and Gymnastics Camps! www.flipfest.com. Also, I would like to tell you about a gymnastics fan community, it is called Gymnzone! www.gymnzone.com If you have questions about gymnastics then e-mail me at elitegymnast08@hotmail.com. I am looking into college's all around the US. I am hoping to make it into Georgia or Ohio. I am also working hard to make it onto the Olympic Women's Gymnastics Team of 2008. I am working very hard and fighting for my spot on the team. I'll do as much training as possible to make it on the team, and by all means I will train as much as I am told.

On this home page, I might talk a little about how I originally became a gymnast and share a few defining moments from my history. I have been doing gymnastics since I was a kid. I remember watching the Magnificient 7 and thinking, wow I am going to be like one of them someday. So ever since then I have dedicated my life to competing and training gymnastics, and I am still working my way there!

I might also use this page to discuss how my team is doing this year in general, or about the prospects for the upcoming year. I'll try to include a few pictures, too.

Thanks for taking a look at my site. Be sure to get in touch with your thoughts and suggestions. I'll be updating frequently, please check back often.

Gymnast of the Month

Courtney Kupets is our new gymnast of the month of August! She is absolutely one of the most kind hearted people I have ever met! She helped me with my attitude by seeing her with a positive attitude all the time. I leared to be patient and work hard for everything that I want. Courtney is a true gymnastics role model and I hope she never loses that! I love you Courtney, and thanks for the help!

Recent Gymnastics News

In case you have'nt heard about the USA's Olympic turnout, we walked away with the siver, and Romania reigned the podium witha strong gold. Russia placed third. I am so happy for our team and they went and did the best to thier abilities, which is all we could ever ask for. Carly's competition started out shakey, but she came back on event finals and rocked the whole place then walked away with the women's individual gold medal!

Paul Hamm ,ade gymnastics history at the Olympic Games! He is the first male American gymnast to ever place 1st in the all around gold I think. He fell on his butt on vault then came back and showed everybody why he was chosen to represent the US at the games! HAHA GO PAUL!!!!!

And I'd like to thank Pamela Anderson for giving Mohini that gracious donation so she could pay her expenses to go compete in the games! Thank you Pamela!
